Labels for Grand Isle Fieldtrip

SITE 1: This first stop was made next to the black mangrove (Avicennia germinans) stand, other plants there included: Distichlis spicata, Eleusine indica, Vigna luteola, Spartina alterniflora and S. patens, Salicornia spp., Panicum repens, Cenchrus sp., Aster subulatus, Iva frutescens, Baccharis halimifolia, Desmanthus illinoensis, and Andropogon glomeratus.

SITE 2: This is the first beach site. Plants there include: Heliotropium curassavicum, Sesuvium portulacastrum, Erigeron procumbens (=E. myrionactis), Panicum amarum, Croton punctatus, Conyza sp., Ipomoea imperati, Uniola paniculata, Eustoma exaltatum, Oenothera sp., and Suaeda linearis.

SITE 3: This is the second beach site — the one at the state park. Plants that we collected here include Bacopa sp., Rhynchospora colorata (=Dichromena colorata), Eragrostis spp., and Tamirix gallica.
