Outstanding Senior in Biochemistry - This award recognizes an undergraduate in the Biochemistry degree program in the department who has significant research accomplishments, particularly presentations at scientific meetings or co-authorship of journal manuscripts. (award winners)

Outstanding Senior in Zoology and Physiology - This award recognizes an undergraduate in the Zoology and Physiology degree program in the department who has significant research accomplishments, particularly presentations at scientific meetings or co-authorship of journal manuscripts. (award winners)

Charles S. McCleskey Memorial Scholarship - All three recipients shall be enrolled as full-time students majoring in Biochemistry or Biology and working in the laboratory of a faculty member conducting microbiological research. These awards will be given to outstanding juniors. The criteria for these awards will focus on scholarship, perseverance, individual attainments, and a sense of social awareness.

At least one of these awards will be given to a minority student, thus emphasizing Dr. McCleskey's great appreciation of social justice.  (award winners)

Amborski Award  - A fourth award will be given annually from the McCleskey endowment to the outstanding graduating senior from professor conducting microbiological research. (award winners)

Socolofsky Award - The recipient shall be a Senior and shall be a full-time student engaged in a research project with one of the faculty members who is conducting microbiological research. This award recognizes significant research accomplishments, particularly presentations at scientific meetings or co-authorship of journal manuscripts.  (award winners)
