The Introductory Biology Program's sole focus is to provide the very best educational experiences for students enrolled in 1000 level (introductory) biology courses.
These courses include the Biol 1001, 1002, and 1005, non-majors sequence, the Biol 1201 and 1202 majors lecture sequence, and Biol1208 (1207 Honors) and 1209 majors lab sequence.
This program is associated with the Department of Biological Sciences, within the College of Basic Sciences. The Biology Program does not grant undergraduate or graduate degrees. These degrees are offered by the Department of Biological Sciences.
