Flow Induced Structures in Polymer-Clay Hydrogels
The purpose of this study is to determine how the structures
of clay-polymer gels made be manipulated by observing and
measuring the rheological properties of the gels. Strain sweep,
frequency sweep, and creep tests were performed. The goal
is to produce a substance with good barrier properties that
may be used to protect tissue of people such as burn victims.
