SMC Home > Rates

Normal rates for usage of the center are $15 - $35/hr to use facility microscopes and $20/hr for assistance. All SMC users should include budget items in grant proposals to cover beam hour and assistance hour charges. SMC personnel will be happy to help provide estimates of expenses necessary to complete microscopy research projects.

All users, including those in the Department of Biological Sciences, are responsible for the costs of supplies used in the SMC. Most of these supplies are available in the center.
