The Center houses a Leica TCS SP2 spectral confocal microscope
that is equipped with:
- DM IRE2 inverted microscope with 10X,
20X, 40X, 63X, and 100X objectives and DIC optics (List
of objectives)
- Ar, He/Ne (green), and He/Ne (red) lasers with laser lines at
458, 476, 488, 514, 543, and 633nm
- Fully configurable Leica LCS software
- We have a quantity of DRAQ5, a nuclear
stain akin to DAPI, available for your use. It can be visualized
with the 633 laser line.
- The following filter cubes are available
for use in the DM IRE2: N2.1, L5, I3, and Y5. Specific
information about these cubes can be found here.
